A great deal of professional development occurs naturally as part of the daily interaction between colleagues at all levels. We firmly believe in career-long learning and the sharing of ideas and knowledge that this entails.
Our friendly and open culture encourages this, but to enhance this natural process we ensure that no one is left on their own. Partners take great care to ensure all fee-earners are appropriately supervised. The learning process for Trainees is supplemented by a mentoring programme where experienced attorneys will provide guidance and support.
In addition to this, we understand the importance of structure to successful training. After a settling-in period, graduate entrants will be encouraged to attend external training courses such as QMW, and those who are further along their qualification route can also take advantage of tailored tutorials to help prepare for exams.
We also hold regular in-house tutorials, CPD events and cross-departmental talks to help disseminate best practice and keep up-to-date with the latest legal developments.
