Becoming a Patent Attorney is to enter a respected profession that offers a rewarding mix of science, technology and law. Office Assistant

A new opportunity has arisen within our Farnham office for an Office Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual looking to start their professional career and gain invaluable experience within a professional legal office environment or an experienced individual looking for a change.

The role will entail general administration tasks such as handling general enquiries, arranging refreshments for meetings, ordering and maintaining stationery supplies, filing, photocopying, scanning, dealing with general office maintenance and tidiness etc. As you develop, you will also have the opportunity to provide support to other areas of the firm.

The right candidate will be eager to learn with the ability to multitask and use their own initiative. A positive attitude and strong communication skills, as well as excellent IT skills, are essential for this role.

Business Development and Marketing Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant within our Business Development and Marketing team based in our London office.

The role will entail a range of business development and marketing activities including day to day administration, coordinating events, organising overseas conference and exhibition arrangements, liaising with external suppliers and venues, on-going website and database updates, assisting with legal directories submissions, together with other activities as they arise.

We are looking for someone keen to get into legal marketing, who is confident, friendly and enthusiastic. The right candidate must have excellent written English and very good attention to detail. He/she will have the ability to prioritise their own workload, which will include working on a number of projects simultaneously for two managers.

A positive attitude, strong communication skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and business related social media, are essential for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright graduate with a marketing or business related qualification seeking their first role within a legal/intellectual property sector, or someone with some experience looking for their next role within a marketing and business development team.
